Privacy Policy
This document explains what data Zenith collects, why, and how it is handled. Zenith is currently in a paper-trading beta. We collect only what is necessary to operate the platform. When real-money trading and identity verification are introduced, this policy will be updated and you will be notified.
1. Data we collect
- Account: handle, WebAuthn credential metadata, time-zone/jurisdiction.
- Trading: positions, paper-credit ledger entries, resolution history.
- Security: IP addresses, device metadata, authentication events.
- Operational: server logs, error reports, performance metrics.
We do not currently collect government ID, payment information, or biometric data. Identity verification will be introduced alongside real-money trading and disclosed separately.
2. Why we collect it
Operating the platform, complying with anti-money-laundering and sanctions law, fraud prevention, market integrity, customer support, and improving the product.
3. Sharing
We share data with our cloud infrastructure and security providers, and with regulators or law enforcement when legally required. We do not sell your data. KYC vendors and payment processors are not currently in use.
4. Retention
We retain account and paper-trading records for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period after closure for security and audit purposes. Operational logs are retained on a shorter rolling schedule. Retention requirements will be updated when real-money trading and applicable financial regulations apply.
5. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict the processing of your data. Submit requests via contact.
6. Security
We use phishing-resistant authentication (WebAuthn), encrypted transport, encrypted storage of sensitive fields, role-bound database access, and continuous monitoring. No system is perfectly secure.
7. International transfers
Data may be processed in jurisdictions different from yours. We use contractual and technical safeguards consistent with applicable law.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated by email and posted here.
